Partner training

Bring The Financial Check-Up to your clients

A practical bookkeeping education program for business owners who need cleaner books, clearer reports, and fewer tax-time surprises — delivered in a format that fits your audience.

The Financial Check-Up is a practical financial education program built for established small business owners who already use QuickBooks, work with a CPA, or have some financial support in place — but still don't fully trust the numbers they're looking at.

As a partner, you can bring that training directly to your clients, members, or audience in a format that complements the work you already do. No accounting jargon. No bloated curriculum. Just plain-English bookkeeping education built around the real issues business owners run into every day.

For consultants · coaches · CPAs · membership groups

A smarter way to support business owners between "you need better books" and "talk to your CPA."

The Financial Check-Up helps business owners understand what their books are actually saying, spot preventable mistakes earlier, and stop creating confusion through messy reporting and mixed transactions.

Partner program can include
  • Live workshop or training session
  • 4-week training series
  • Co-branded client education program
  • Worksheets and practical follow-up tools

Offer members a practical educational benefit that helps them strengthen financial habits throughout the year.

What clients struggle with

The real problems this program solves

Most established business owners aren't missing software — they're missing a clear, plain-English understanding of what their numbers are telling them and how to stay organized between tax seasons.

They may already have QuickBooks, a CPA, or even a bookkeeper. But they still don't know how to read their Profit & Loss with confidence, spot common bookkeeping mistakes early, or keep owner transactions from quietly muddying the books.

Grounded in day-to-day client work
  • They use QuickBooks but don't fully trust what they're seeing
  • They wait until tax time to deal with bookkeeping confusion
  • They don't know how to read a P&L with confidence
  • They aren't sure what to send to a CPA or how to stay sales-tax ready
  • They need a simple monthly rhythm for reviewing their books
  • They've never received practical financial training for their own business

About the instructor

Michelle Myrick

Founder, Myrick Balance Bookkeeping

Michelle is the founder of Myrick Balance Bookkeeping, where she works directly with small business owners on the real, day-to-day issues that show up in their books — cleanup work, report confusion, sales tax questions, owner transactions, and getting organized for CPA hand-offs.

That hands-on experience shapes how she teaches. The Financial Check-Up was built to translate bookkeeping confusion into plain-English understanding business owners can actually use.

Her goal isn't to turn clients into bookkeepers. It's to help them understand their books well enough to make better decisions, stay more organized, and stop creating preventable cleanup problems by accident.
